PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling apparatus capable of decelerating the traveling speed of a tractor (1) in the nearly same timing for each direction change in changing the direction in a field butt for carrying out tilling operation by reciprocation traveling, turning the tractor (1) at a suitable speed simply by the same direction change operation even when the tilling is performed at a higher speed than the conventional speed, forming the butt of the nearly same width by the direction change of the tractor (1) and carrying out simplification of the direction change operation in high-speed tilling operation and simplification, etc., of tilling treatment in the butt. SOLUTION: The tilling apparatus is obtained by mounting a tillage rotary implement (14) on the tractor (1) so as to freely lift and lower. In the tilling apparatus, a changeover means (69) for decelerating the traveling speed of the tractor (1) based on results of detection with a sensor (83) for detecting the steering angle of a steering wheel (5).
