PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preparation containing the zinc salt of ricinoleic acid and at least one functional amino acid and having deodorizing activity. SOLUTION: The preparation contains (a) the zinc salt of ricinoleic acid, (b) an functional amino acid, (c) a dissolution promoter, (d) an organic acid and/or an inorganic acid and artificially (e) water and has deodorizing activity.
