NEW EFFECTIVE TERMINAL DIFFERENTIATION-INDUCING AGENT AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively inducing the terminal differentiation of tumor cells and thereby inhibiting the propagation of the cells, and a method for treating a patient having the tumor cells in the propagation. SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula (1) [wherein, R1, R2are each independently cycloalkylamino, pyridineamino, piperidino, 9-purine-6- amine or thiazoleamino when the R1, R2are same; and R1=R3-N-R4, each of R3, R4are H, hydroxyl, an alkyl, an alkenyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, an alkyloxy, an aryloxy, an arylalkyloxy or pyridine, or R3and R4are bonded each other to form a piperidine, and R2is hydroxylamino, hydroxyl, amino, an alkylamino, or an alkyoxy, when the R1, R2are different; and (n) is 4-8 integer].
