PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conducting thin film laminate which hardly flocculates a silver atom in a thin silver film layer in the presence of a chloride ion or by applying electric current and for this reason, has the advantage that a dot-like defect due to silver flocculation does not occur, when this laminate is used as a member for a transparent electrode or an electromagnetic wave barrier filter. SOLUTION: This transparent conducting thin film laminate comprises a transparent substrate (A), a transparent thin film layer with high refractive index (a) and a metallic thin film layer (b), with such characteristics that the metallic thin film layer (b) is formed of at least silver, neodymium, gold or copper.
