PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive aggregate for a coating agent of high quality which has high purity, are enough in refractoriness, thermal conductivity and thermal expansibility so as to be feedable in bulk, and to provide a coating agent which has high coating properties and satisfactory coating film properties, and has excellent gassing prevention and scattering prevention properties on pouring, and imparting high flatness and die releasability to a cast skin by using the aggregate for a coating agent. SOLUTION: The aggregate and the coating agent contain waste sludge produced in slurry waste solution reclamation treatment as essential components. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
