PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine in which the height of a nozzle of a side injection unit can be adjusted easily. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine 10 has a frame 43 in the side of a molding machine frame 11. A vertically moving board 70 movable vertically is set in the frame 43. The board 70 can be moved to a desired height by a Z-axis driving mechanism 71. An X-axis movable table 80 and an X-axis driving mechanism 81 are mounted on the board 70. A Y-axis movable table 80 and a Y-axis driving mechanisms 91 are mounted on the X-axis movable table 80. A side injection unit 13 is mounted on the Y-axis movable table 90. The Y-axis driving mechanism 91 has a spring 99 which functions as a nozzle pressing means. The spring 99 biases the Y-axis movable table 90 toward a mold to make the tip of the nozzle 100 contact an injection port in the side of the mold. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
