PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally controlling device of a workbench in a vehicle for the work at heights capable of always controlling the workbench in a horizontal state in a slope, etc., by selecting one of two control modes for the horizontal control of the workbench according to the situation of the working site, and allowing safe and efficient work at heights. SOLUTION: The vehicle for work at heights has the control device for selecting a first mode to set the workbench in the horizontal state relative to the vehicle body and a second mode to set the workbench in the horizontal state relative to the horizontal surface on the ground by the switching operation. In the first mode, an actuator 9 is operated based on the result of detection of a first angle sensor 10 for detecting the angleθ1 of a boom to the vehicle body and a second angle sensor 11 for detecting the angleθ2 of the workbench relative to the boom, so that the workbench is controlled to be in the horizontal state. In the second mode, the actuator 9 is operated based on the result of detection of an inclination sensor 12 for detecting the horizontal angle differenceθof the workbench to the horizontal surface on the ground to control the workbench to be horizontal.
