PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic attractor for preventing peeling of an oxidation inhibiting coat coating a neodymium magnet attached to a rotor. SOLUTION: The magnetic attractor comprises a pair of flat board members 10 disposed opposite from each other, consisting of a nonmagnetic member 11 disposed in the middle and magnetic members 12 disposed on both sides of the nonmagnetic member, the cylindrical rotor 20 rotatably journaled between the flat members 10, a pair of neodymium magnets 30 attached in such a way that different magnetic poles face the rotor 20, facing the both flat board members 10, and a pair of fixed magnets 50 disposed on the both sides of the rotor 20. The direction of magnetic force line of the neodymium magnets 30 relative to the magnetic member 12 is changed by rotating the rotor 20. In the magnetic attractor, thin peeling preventive boards 40, 41, 42 and 43 made of nonmagnetic material are attached to front and rear surfaces of the rotor 20 for preventing the peeling of the oxidation inhibiting coat coating the neodymium magnets 30.
