PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an alignment-regulating period of time for an X-ray diaphragm without depending on a human factor such as inexperience of an operator, and also, to reduce unevenness in the regulation. SOLUTION: This X-ray diagnostic apparatus is equipped with a bed, an X-ray source, an image-receiving system, a C arm, and an X-ray movable diaphragm which is attached to the X-ray source side of this C arm and forms an aperture to stop an X-ray beam from the X-ray source to the image-receiving system by an aperture degree being variably set. In addition, an elements for realizing the diaphragm alignment regulation-supporting function of the X-ray diaphragm device, the X-ray diagnostic apparatus is also equipped with a recording medium 107 and a data base 121, and an image-processing unit 103. In this case, the recording medium 107 previously stores an image becoming a reference for the diaphragm alignment regulation including the attaching location of the X-ray diaphragm device for the focal point of the X-ray source, and the aperture degree regulation of the aperture. The image-processing unit 103 displays an image becoming the reference for the diaphragm alignment regulation on a monitor 111 by superposing the image becoming the reference on an image indicating a diaphragm alignment state under regulation when the X-ray diaphragm device is being attached, while obtaining the image indicating the diaphragm alignment state through the image-receiving system.
