<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the stable spraying state of a spray liquid to powdery particles by always properly holding the relative positional relation between a spray nozzle and a tumbling bed of the powdery particles at the time of coating treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The spray nozzle 20 for spraying the spray liquid on the tumbling bed S of the powdery particles and two ultrasonic displacement sensors 22 for detecting the distances h2 and h3 up to the surface of the tumbling bed S are arranged in a rotary drum 1 rotated around its axial line X. On the basis of the detection results of a plurality of non-contact type distance sensors 22, the spaced-apart distance of the spray nozzle 20 with respect to the surface S1 of the tumbling bed S, the relative angle of the spray nozzle 20 to the surface S1 of the tumbling bed and the rotational speed of the rotary drum 1 are adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
