PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of a traction vehicle. SOLUTION: A vertical boom 15 is arranged vertically at the tip of an expanding and contracting boom, which is mounted on a swivel base 6, and a traction arm 21 is rockably installed in the lower end section of the vertical boom 15 through a rocking shaft 22, which stands nearly perpendicular to the boom 7 when it laid down. This constitution make it possible to move the traction arm 21 in a broad range by raising tilting, turning, expanding and contracting the boom 7 and also to make the advancing direction of a vehicle 35 to be towed the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 35 nearly the same by changing and adjusting the relative position to the vehicle 35 by vibrating the traction arm 21. As a result of these synergistic effects, even where the vehicle 35 is positioned on the side of the traction vehicle, for example, the vehicle 35 can be towed with the traction arm 21 keeping the vehicle 35 raised and drawing it at a traction fixing position without moving the traction vehicle.
