PURPOSE: To make it hardly possible for a warp, sink, or void to show in the lid of a compact case of a resin and also make it easy to manufacture a mold by forming the inside surface of the lid into a relief for thickness with the thickness of the lid lessened and by erecting on the inside surface of the lid a plurality of ribs each of which does not cross any of the others and by which a mirror is supported and fixed. CONSTITUTION: The inside surface of a lid 3 is recessed in a manner of having the same curves of surface as the outside surface and forming a thickness relief 7 and the lid 3 is designed to have a uniform thickness. On the thickness- relief part 7 a plurality of short, rectangular ribs 4A are erected in a latticework pattern each without crossing any of the others, each independently of the others, and molded integrally with the lid 3. The top ends of the ribs 4A are positioned in one and the same plane and form a plane for attaching a mirror 5. A double-coated adhesive tape 8 is used for the attachment of the mirror 5. Therefore, even in the case where a part of the ribs 4A disagree in height due to a warp or deformation at the time of manufacturing the mold for the lid 3, the height can be adjusted by enlarging or reducing the height of only the ribs 4A having trouble. |
