PURPOSE: To provide a recording paper carrying mechanism of an image forming device capable of effectively reducing first print time. CONSTITUTION: Between a drive system of a fixing roller 3 and a carrying roller a torque limitter is disposed. Respective values are set so that relation between the paper carrying speed V1 of the fixing roller 3, the paper carrying speed V2 of a paper dishcarge part, a paper distance L3 before passing the fixing roller 3, a distance L1 between the fixing roller 3 and the carrying roller 7 and a distance L2 between the carrying roller 7 and a discharge roller 9 is represented by an equation (L1+L2)/V2<=(L1+L3)/V1. With such an arrangement the torque limitter works owing to a following paper sheet P2 , and when the paper carrying speed V2 of the discharge part is decelerated to the speed V1 a leading paper P is discharged to a discharge tray 10 and thus the paper carrying time of the paper discharge part is made short. |
