PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect only a user without the need of a wiring equipment in a space between a man detection device and an opposed main body by detecting the user in a thicket examination passage based on the detection signals of pyroelectric sensors and judging the moving state of the user from the change state of the detection signals. SOLUTION: A sensor means constituted of the plural pyroelectric sensors 3 and 3' where detection areas which follow the passage direction of the ticket examination passage of an automatic examination machine and are obtained by dividing the ticket examination passage are provided is installed. The pyroelectric sensor 3 is for detecting adults and it is provided on the ticket examination passage (b)-side at the almost central part of a detector fitting bar. The pyroelectric sensor 3' for detecting children is provided at the upper part of the ticket examination passage (b)-side of a main body (a). In the device, a detection means detects the user in the ticket examination passage (b) based on the detection signals from the respective pyroelectric sensors 3 and 3', and judges the moving state of the user from the change state of the detection signals. |
