PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the device by which the improvised performance is attained by playing with an automatic accompaniment pattern that is played so far while suppressing chord detection for an arbitrary time or between arbitrary measures during an automatic accompaniment, and also superposing and playing a sound that a player has inputted by key operations. SOLUTION: A changeover switch 3a of chord detection is provided on a panel or to a pedal. A chord detection control means 21 detects the setting state of the changeover switch 3a for chord detection and performs ON/OFF control over the chord detection according to the setting state of the said changeover switch 3a. When the changeover switch 3a is ON at this time, the chord detection control means 21 plays a normal automatic accompaniment. When the changeover switch 3a is OFF, on the other hand, the automatic accompaniment pattern generated right before the changeover switch 3a is turned OFF is sounded and the sound that the player has inputted with keys is superposed and played. |
