<p>PURPOSE:To improve the space efficiency and transportation efficiency of an automobile road and the safeness of connected traveling by providing a coupling device for physically connecting the bodies of plural automobiles with an inter- vehicle communication interface. CONSTITUTION:Each automobile 101 is provided with coupling devices 102 on its front and rear parts so that the front device is used for insertion and the rear device is used for reception. Each coupling device 102 is provided with an inter-vehicle interface (RS232C) 103. A control signal from a controller 104 or a personal computer or the like carried in the vehicle is transmitted/ received to/from an automobile connected through the device 102, control information or the like is displayed on a display 105 and the device 102 is normally stored in the vehicle body and constituted so as to be extended at the time of connection. The devices 102 are used for connection insertion and connection reception and the interface 103 is connected between both the vehicles by removing its interface cover after connecting the connection inserting device to the connection receiving device.</p> |
