FIELD: polymeric membranes. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes polymeric semipermeable membranes for separation of aqueous solution in food and chemical industries, for desalting and cleaning of water in medical practice, and for manufacturing household water purifiers. Cellulose acetate is modified with phthalic acid anhydride or with succinic acid at 80-85 C during 2,5-3 h until content of bound phthalic or succinic acid reaches 1.5 to 6,0% based on the initial weight of cellulose acetate and so forming solution is obtained containing, wt parts/wt parts water: modified cellulose acetate 8.0-18.0, water 10.0-15.0, pore former 0.1- 2.0, and solvent - the balance. Solution is laid onto porous substrate and subjected to heat treatment. EFFECT: increased selectivity and productivity of membrane. 9 ex
