FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous-action machines, for instance, belt conveyors, and it can be used in different enterprises where transportation of rock materials with crag inclusions is carried out. Proposed belt conveyor idler consists of central idler and side idlers. Each idler consists of two belt-supporting rollers arranged on axle secured on frame by means of support located between belt-supporting rollers and hinge-coupled with axle. Axle of central idler is spring-loaded at both sides of support, and axles of side idlers are spring-loaded at outer sides of supports. EFFECT: increased service life of idlers and belt, improved dynamic characteristics of conveyer in transportation. 2 dwg |
