<p>PURPOSE: Provided are a bio-bead or bio-thread that comprises a polymerizing material and microorganisms immobilized to the polymerizing material, and a biological wastewater treatment system using the bio-bead for eliminating organic material, nitrogen and phosphorous in domestic and industrial wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dissolving polymerizing material into acetone, mixing dehydrated mixed culture microorganism such as sewage or industrial wastewater sludge with the polymerizing material acetone solution, adding ceramic powder and activated carbon powder to the solution, depositing the solution onto a thread and drying the thread with the solution, wherein the polymerizing material is cellulose acetate, poly vinyl alcohol, and poly ethylene glycol.</p> |
