ASYMMETRIC PLANAR DIPOLE ANTENNA WITH WIDEBAND PROPERTY AND DIPOLE ANTENNA ARRAY STRUCTURE USING ASYMMETRIC PLANAR DIPOLE ANTENNA

PURPOSE: An asymmetric planar dipole antenna with a wideband property and a dipole antenna structure using the asymmetric planar dipole antenna are provided to reduce the fading by employing the polarization diversity manner. CONSTITUTION: An asymmetric planar dipole antenna(100) is comprised of a reflector(110), a dipole device(120), and a power feeding unit(130). The reflector(110) is disposed on a lower of the asymmetric planar dipole antenna(100). The dipole device(120) is coupled to an upper end of a supporting unit(104) through a fixing member(102) and has a length shorter than λ/2. The power feeding unit(130) is comprised of an air-strip feeding module(132) formed on an upper of the dipole device(120) and a cable feeding module(134) installed on an end of the air-strip feeding module(132).
