PURPOSE: A process for preparing an effective material useful for the treatment of inflammation is provided, thereby effectively treating inflammation including otitis media and nasitis. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing an effective material useful for the treatment of inflammation comprises the steps of: preparing a yellow soil and pine tree leaf cave in the 30m to 50m underground; inserting a certain amount of medicine materials including borneol, alum and elm tree roots on granite in the underground yellow soil and pine tree leaf cave; heating the medicine materials at 500 to 600 deg. C to extract catechin material; and pulverizing the heated medicine materials and drying them in the shade.
