The present invention provides a combination filter for filtering fluids comprising: a flow channel filtration media array and an adsorber particle filtration media, wherein said flow channel filtration media array has a first face and a second face and is formed by at least one structured film layer and a second layer, the structured film layer having a first face and a second face, at least one face of the structured film forming, at least in part, flow channels and having high aspect ratio structures over at least a portion of the face forming the flow channels and wherein a second film layer comprising the flow channel layer second layer, or a further layer, at least in part defines fluid pathways through the flow channels of the array, wherein said film layers are electrostatically charged and define a plurality of inlets open through the first face and a plurality of outlets open through the second face of said array; and said adsorber particle filtration media comprises a pleated layer of adsorber particles and wherein said carbon filtration media is adjacent to a face of the flow channel filtration media array. <IMAGE> |
