PURPOSE: Apparatus and method for measuring balance during the use of a running machine are provided to allow the user to control an exercise strength thus keeping the correct posture by determining the balanced degree of the user's weight during running. CONSTITUTION: The method for measuring the balanced degree of the user's weight during the use of a running machine system comprises the steps of: (a) inputting information about the user's conditions; (b) measuring the user's weight by using sensors, thereby determining the deflection degree of the user's body and displaying the result on a screen; (c) driving the running machine system; (d) measuring and displaying the balance of the user during running; (e) schematically displaying the balance of the user at the end point of running; and (f) outputting the obtained data.
