PURPOSE: A lightweight fireproof board is provided to promote the convenience on construction with sanitation and lightweight and to have excellent safety against a fire and heat/sound insulation efficiencies. CONSTITUTION: The lightweight fireproof board comprises the steps of forming perforated holes(2a,3a) on an upper plate(2) and a lower plate(3) of a body(1) made of corrugated cardboard at regular intervals, filling up a compartment formed on the upper and lower part of a partition plate(4) with volcanic rock(5), then sealing up with upper and lower stopping plates(1a,1b) and putting in a water glass tub to form a setting layer(6) and a coating layer by a water glass liquid permeated through the perforated holes(2a,3a).
