PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to maintain a joint gap in a brazing process and to prevent leakage of coolant in a compressor by forming embossing on a surface of a base metal and by allowing filler material to penetrate between base metals. CONSTITUTION: Filler material is formed between base metals. If a joint gap is biased, filler material is inefficiently filled or overflowing, thereby resulting an incomplete welding. Thus, at least two embossing are formed in the base metals in order to constantly maintain the joint gap. A shielding wall is installed in the base metal in order to prevent leakage of coolant in a compressor. Preferably, embossing are formed at an inner wall of the base metal. Due to the embossing, the joint gap and wetting quality of the base metal are optimally maintained.
