PURPOSE: An electric cooker is provided to improve thermal efficiency by using a hot-plate as a cooking pan. CONSTITUTION: An electric cooker(1) is composed of a hot-plate(10) integrated with a heater(15), and a base member(20) on which the hot-plate is mounted. The hot-plate is used as a cooking pan. The hot-plate has a roast plate having an oil discharge passage(13). A plurality of protrusions(11) are formed at the roast plate. An oil receiver(40) is installed under the oil discharge passage, and is supported by the base member.
