PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to achieve improved deflection characteristics by preventing the movement of the coma free coupled to the rear cover. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a coil separator including a neck portion coupled to an electron gun portion of a cathode ray tube and a screen portion formed integrally with the neck portion and coupled with a screen of the cathode ray tube; a horizontal deflection coil and a vertical deflection coil mounted on the inner and outer surfaces of the coil separator and which form a horizontal deflection magnetic field and a vertical deflection magnetic field; a coma free(30) arranged on a rear cover(12) of the coil separator and which corrects a mis-convergence on a screen, wherein the coma free includes a bobbin(31) having an outer surface wound with a coil(32) and a core(33) having an end accommodated into the bobbin; a coupling unit(20) formed integrally on the rear cover, and which includes a plurality of support pieces(21,22) and a hook(23) for fixing the coma free; and a tension rib(25) mounted on the support piece, and which applies a predetermined elastic support force to the coma free.
