摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to improve a viewing angle of the liquid crystal display to accurately recognize displayed information while mitigating gray scale inversion. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display panel(510) includes a first substrate(512) where a plurality of pixels including first electrodes are formed, a second substrate(514) where second electrodes facing the first electrodes are formed, and liquid crystal interposed between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal display panel receives first light for emitting second light including image information. An optical path changing element(560), which is a porous film, is arranged on the liquid crystal display panel, having a plurality of reflecting planes formed in a first direction vertical to the top side of the liquid crystal display panel for reflecting part of the second light to emit third light having compensated brightness.
