PURPOSE: An apparatus for recording and playing an optical disk is provided to rise a slider at a certain height and strengthen a suspension controlling the slider by controlling a height of a gap according to strength of a magnetic power between the slider and the optical disk. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk(110) has a magnetic layer(113) formed on a substrate part(111) except a recording layer(112) to have a magnetic repulsive power with a magnetic layer of a slider. The slider is installed at the end of a swing arm to scan tracks of the optical disk, having the magnetic layer to rise at a minute gap by the magnetic repulsive power.
