To a body frame (F), there is so fixed a main pipe side cover (22) as to cover the front side of the body frame (F). A leg shield (Ls) for covering the leg of a rider is removably attached to the side portion of the main pipe side cover (22), and an under cover (25) for covering the front portion of an engine unit (Eu) is removably attached to the lower portion of the same. The lower end portion of the leg shield (Ls) is arranged adjacent to the mating portion between the lower end face of the main pipe side cover (22) and the upper end face of the under cover (25). When the leg shield (Ls) is attached, therefore, the lower end of the leg shield (Ls) can take a high position with respect to the mating portion between the main pipe side cover (22) and the under cover (25), to raise the degree of freedom for the foot operations of the rider and to improve the operability. Moreover, the degree for the lower portion of the leg shield (Ls) to interfere with an obstacle can be reduced to improve the appearance of the leg shield. |
