PURPOSE: A low level alarm device is provided to allow for ease of manufacture and reduce manufacturing costs, while achieving improved reliability. CONSTITUTION: A low level alarm device comprises a buoyancy difference floater(10) arranged to have a buoyancy moment difference larger than the gravity moment difference; a floater rotating shaft(15) serving as a center shaft for rotation of the buoyancy difference floater; a support board(14) for supporting the floater rotating shaft; a buoyancy difference level switch constituted by an electrical contact(20) which is electrified or not electrified by the rotation of the buoyancy difference floater; an electronic unit for sensing and outputting signals of the buoyancy difference level switch; and an alarm lamp for permitting a driver to recognize the signal output from the electronic unit.
