PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for guiding bus service information are provided to consult a bus passenger's convenience by providing the bus service information and the position information to the bus passenger. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for guiding bus service information includes a GPS reception module(10), a memory(20), an audio signal processing portion(60), a display portion(70), an RF module(50), and a control portion(90). The GPS reception module is used for receiving latitude data and longitude data through a GPS antenna. The memory is used for storing station voice guide data and advertising data. The audio signal processing portion outputs the voice guide broadcasting. The display portion display the advertising data. The RF module is used for receiving the advertising data from a bus control center and transmitting bus service information to the bus control center. The control portion controls outputting states of the station voice guide data, the advertising data, the bus service information.
