VIRTUAL NETWORK MANAGING MODULE DEVELOPING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A virtual network managing module developing system is provided to allow development of a software such as a device driver or a manager by virtually operating a hardware without a hardware equipment. CONSTITUTION: An SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) agent installed in a network device collects and stores network information of a device according to a pre-set standard. An SNMP manager collects information of each agent and manages an overall network. A virtual magneto optics simulator virtually implements a network equipment. The virtual management object simulator includes a virtual management object defining an object name of each group and an object type on the basis of an MIB(Management Information Base), and an input unit. The virtual management object consists of a user interface and a communicator. As the user interface, a GTK+ is used in a Linux environment. The user interface includes plural groups having a tree structure.
