PURPOSE: A method for folding packing film of food packing device is provided to pack food sanitarily reducing work force and working time. CONSTITUTION: A food(1) is transferred to a plurality of folding plates, and a packing film(31-1) covers the upper and side part of the food. The edge of the packing film is extended to lower direction of the food. A length folding plate folds the edge of the packing film corresponding to the length of the food. A width folding plate folds the edge of the packing film corresponding to the width of the food.
