<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To scroll a display picture of a portable telephone set always at a speed that a user desires. <P>SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 3 equipped with a vertically movable slide switch 1 and a display part 2 scrolls a display picture displayed on the display part 2 according to the quantity, direction, and speed of movement of the slide switch 1 with the slide switch 1 at neither its movable lower-limit position nor movable upper-limit position and further scrolls continuously the display picture up when the slide switch 1 is moved to the movable lower-limit position and down when moved to the movable upper-limit position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
