PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact IC card capable of minimizing the collision of response, a response method, and a program for the method.

SOLUTION: In this non-contact IC card, a response determination means determines whether a response by the other non-contact IC card at a specified timing is present or not and a response timing alteration means alters the specified timing based on the results of the determination by the response determination means.
