PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved solution to a problem of printer skew that solve the problem with higher reliability, higher accuracy and lower costs. SOLUTION: A method comprises a step (block 504) for measuring the print media skew of a print media (sheet media) 202, a step (block 514) for creating skew correction print information by mapping skew cancel print information in order to compensate for the print media skew and a step (block 518) for applying a print image to the print media 202 by using the skew compensating print information.
