<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke system by which the brand name or company name of a CM can be effectively appealed to be positively utilized also as an opportunity of an advertisement when music used for the CM or the like is played. <P>SOLUTION: The karaoke system 10 is equipped with a play music storage means 10 storing music data 10a of play music, a play music setting means 9 for setting the play music, a music play means 7 for reading the music data of the play music set by that play music setting means 9 out of the play music storage means 10 and playing the play music, a display device 17 for displaying the video of the words and the background video of the play music or the like, an advertisement information storage means 10 for storing advertisement information related with the play music, and an advertisement information display control means 2.
