PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring instrument for mounting on a ceiling, which enables hardly breaking of its dressed plate. SOLUTION: The wiring instrument for mounting on the ceiling comprises an instrument body (3) which is inserted into a mounting hole (2) made on a setting-up surface (1) and is fixed there, a body (4) which is a part of the instrument body (3), a flange (6) which is disposed at an under end of the body (4), a cover (5) which is set on an upper surface of the body (4), a dressed plate (56) which can be mounted on an under surface of the flange (6) or can be freely demounted from it, and a cord (10) which connects the dressed plate (56) with the instrument body (3).
