PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically classifying and storing received data by a data receiving side at transmitting the data through a network. SOLUTION: A computer C1 prepares an electronic file including data to be transmitted and a keyword related with the data, and transmits it to a computer C2 (data transmission process 1), and a computer C2 receives the electronic file, and extracts the keyword (data reception process 2), and detects a pertinent directory from a data base A1 by using the keyboard, and stores the data in the directory in a hard disk B (a storage destination judging process 3). Thus, it is possible to automatically classify and store the data through the network without making a transmitter consider the directory structure of the hard disk B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
