DISENGAGEMENT PREVENTIVE JOINT STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely insert a lock ring without damaging the lock ring or an anticorrosion coating film on a lock ring receiving groove at the time of inserting the lock ring from an outside surface of a socket into the receiving groove in an inside surface of the socket. SOLUTION: This disengagement preventive joint is constructed such that an insertion end of a pipe is inserted in the inside of the socket formed at an end of another pipe and the lock ring is inserted from the outside surface of the socket via a through-hole into the lock ring receiving groove in the inside surface of the socket. A coating film 12 having a cushion property is formed on a front end portion of 3a of the lock ring 3 in contact with a radial inside surface of the lock ring receiving groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
