PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a range-finding device capable of compensating parallax by improving troublesome operability without complicating constitution. SOLUTION: The distances of a plurality of range-finding points within the field range of a finder are detected by a multi AF circuit 18 in response to the operation of 1st and 2nd release switches 11 and 12 by a switch input part 13. Then, focusing is performed by a CPU 10 based on the result of range- finding by the circuit 18. The field range of the finder is changed by a finder shift mechanism 17 so that a photographing range by a photographic optical system may be aligned with a range observed by the finder. The mechanism 17 changes the field range of the finder based on the result of the detection by the circuit 18. If it is a state where the switches 11 and 12 are pushed after focusing, the field after the change is maintained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
