PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost piezoelectric oscillator and a piezoelectric oscillator device which are resonant at high frequencies, using a fundamental wave, and are easy to adjust the resonance frequency. SOLUTION: The device comprises a piezoelectric board 30 having a wedged part 30b gradually thinning with respect to its thickness toward the top end, and drive electrodes 31, 32 formed on the opposite main surfaces of the wedged part 30b top end.
