PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pressure release lock device which can be easily installed to an existing building by post installation, for example, and also applicable to a sliding door. SOLUTION: This is a water pressure release lock device 1 comprising a locking device 3 equipped with a locking and release handle 10 at indoor side surface and installed at the door tip side of a folding door 2 and a water pressure releasing device 1 comprising a water conveying hole 13 installed at the indoor side through the folding door 2 and also equipped with a push bar 14 performing protruding operation by sending water to the water conveying hole 13 and a water pressure release device 4 adjacently located to the locking device 3 in this water pressure release lock device 1; an operation block 15 is fixed to the tip of the push bar 14 of the water pressure release device 4 in one united body, the operation block 15 moves accompanying the protruding operation of the push bar 14 during water conveying to the water pressure release device 4, and the locking and unlocking handle 10 is rotated in unlocking direction by a contact to the handle 10.
