<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink having excellent preservation stability, radiation curability and water, light and ozone resistances and especially suitable for ink jet recording. <P>SOLUTION: This ink comprises a monomer having a polymerizable group and an oil-soluble dye represented by general formula (A-I) (wherein, X<SB>1</SB>s to X<SB>4</SB>s denote each a group selected from -SO-Z, -SO<SB>2</SB>-Z, -SO<SB>2</SB>NR<SB>1</SB>R<SB>2</SB>, -CONR<SB>1</SB>R<SB>2</SB>, -CO<SB>2</SB>R<SB>1</SB>and sulfo group; Z, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>denote each a substituted or an unsubstituted alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group, aralkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group, with the proviso that both R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are not hydrogen atoms; M denotes a hydrogen atom, a metal element, a metal oxide, a metal hydroxide or a metal halide; Y<SB>1</SB>s to Y<SB>4</SB>s denote each a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; and a<SB>1</SB>to a<SB>4</SB>and b<SB>1</SB>to b<SB>4</SB>denote each the number of X<SB>1</SB>s to X<SB>4</SB>s and Y<SB>1</SB>s to Y<SB>4</SB>s and are each an integer of 0-4, with the proviso that the sum total of a<SB>1</SB>to a<SB>4</SB>is ≥2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
