SOLUTION: Under the constraint in which making absolute value|g<SB>m</SB>|= absä[11...1][exp(imα<SB>1</SB>]exp(imα<SB>2</SB>}...exp(imα<SB>n</SB>)]<SP>t</SP>} of non-dimensional coefficient of the sum of m-order unbalanced forces F<SB>(m)</SB>=F<SB>m</SB>[11...1][exp(imα<SB>1</SB>)exp(imα<SB>2</SB>)...exp(imα<SB>n</SB>)]<SP>t</SP>=F<SB>m</SB>g<SB>m</SB>to approach closer and closer to zero acting as exciting forces to the entire engine represented in the form of summing up m-order unbalanced forces in an multi-cylinder reciprocating internal combustion engine of crank throw number (n), unbalanced coupled forces M<SB>(k)</SB>M<SB>(k)</SB>=F<SB>k</SB>L[s<SB>1</SB>s<SB>2</SB>...s<SB>n</SB>][exp(ikα<SB>1</SB>)exp(ikα<SB>2</SB>)...exp(ikα<SB>n</SB>)]<SP>t</SP>=F<SB>k</SB>L f<SB>k</SB>expressed in the form of weighting the k-order unbalanced forces of each crank throw M<SB>(k)</SB>with distance L between respective cylinders are divided by F<SB>k</SB>L. Thus, absolute value of non-dimensional coefficient of unbalanced forces|f<SB>k</SB>|= absä[s<SB>1</SB>s<SB>2</SB>...s<SB>n</SB>][exp(ikα<SB>1</SB>]exp(ikα<SB>2</SB>}...exp(ikα<SB>n</SB>)]<SP>t</SP>} is obtained. A crank throw pin angle is determined by obtaining crank-pin angleα<SB>j</SB>(j=1, 2,...n) of crank throw which minimizes the foregoing absolute value to the even number power through expression of orthogonal coordinates system.
