The motor block, employing an external heat source and having hot and cold faces, consists of an an assembly of cells entirely hermetically sealed, with four chambers containing two crossing pistons (5, 6), linked in pairs and met on parallel crankshafts (7). It uses a single internal pressurised gas that fills the whole of the hollow volume and acts as a working gas that moves between hot and cold chambers as its pressure varies with the temperature, and causes the pistons to reciprocate.
