<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide handheld cellular communications equipment capable of mixing and playing polyphonic audio files and to provide a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, polyphonic audio files are dynamically created on the handheld mobile wireless communication devices by creating and storing polyphonic files with limited data storage resources on wireless communications handsets by storing reference data in an audio mix data reference file 400 including file name data 410, sound effect data 420, base track data 450 and soundtrack data 450, and integrating audio data reference files and soundtrack data reference files in a polyphonic audio format file for uploading from wireless communications handsets and combinations thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
