<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric equipment that can communicate with other electric equipment, even if the power source of the electric equipment is turned off so as to control the opponent or to share functions. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receiving a command from other electric equipment, a personal computer 3 performs termination and start-up processings. An electric power supply circuit 23 of the personal computer 3 has a first electric power supply state of supplying electric power to an AP layer processing circuit 20, a link-layer processing circuit 21 and a physical-layer processing circuit 22 and has a second electric power supply state, in which electric power supply to the circuit 21 and the circuit 22 is halted and the electric power is continuously supplied to the circuit 23, and in response to an instruction received via an interface 25 from the outside, it switches the first electric power supply state and the second electric power supply state from one to another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
