摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which improves the charging capability of a pixel electrode without increasing the parasitic capacity of a TFT. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of extending and providing portions 31 are extended and provided toward a drain electrode 6 at the portion opposed to the drain electrode 6 of a source electrode 5 of the TFT 4 to form a plurality of recessed parts 29. A plurality of projected parts 33 are extended and provided toward the drain electrode 6 at the portion opposed to the source drain 5 of the drain electrode 6. Each of the projected parts 33 is provided to be inserted in each of the recessed parts 29 without coming into contact with the source electrode 5. Forming such the constitution increases the outer edge length of the opposed portions of the source electrode 5 and the drain electrode 6 without jumboizing the TFT 4 to improve the charging capability of the pixel electrode 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
